At The Golden Thread, sessions are carefully planned and time is reserved especially for your child. To ensure fairness and consistency for all families, the following cancellation policy applies:

24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session, or non-attendance, will be charged in full and are non-refundable.
If sufficient notice is given, sessions may be rescheduled, subject to availability.
In the case of exceptional circumstances (e.g. sudden illness), please contact me as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and for respecting the time and care that goes into supporting each child.

Cancellation Policy (Schools & Organisations)

All sessions, programmes and workshops delivered by The Golden Thread are planned and resourced in advance. To ensure clarity and fairness, the following cancellation policy applies to schools and organisations:

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booked session, programme, or workshop.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
Where sufficient notice is given, sessions may be rescheduled, subject to availability.
If a session cannot go ahead due to school closure, staff absence, or circumstances within the school’s control, the session will be chargeable unless 48 hours’ notice has been provided.
In the event of exceptional or unforeseen circumstances (e.g. severe weather, emergency situations), discretion may be applied.

This policy ensures that time, preparation and resources committed to each school can be managed sustainably while continuing to deliver high-quality wellbeing support for children and young people.
